Scharbeutz dog run
In Klingberg, a district of Scharbeutz, a highlight for dogs and their owners awaits: in the middle of the Scharbeutz Heath, there is a fenced-in free-range area covering around 18 hectares. On the extensive grounds you will find countless natural paths and meadows, some of which even have agility equipment for training and playing. Two play areas with fine sand are located in the north and south-west of the forest. There is also an emergency pillar for first aid treatment of injuries, a shelter to protect against rain and several "dog bars" with drinking water for visitors and their dogs.
Dogs must be kept on a lead: Statutory leash requirement in the forest area, especially on the path from the parking lot to the dog run
Location: Seestraße, 23684 Scharbeutz/District of Klingberg

The forest is perfect for socializing with other dogs and the many tree trunks on the forest floor offer additional play opportunities. A little tip: It can get very muddy there, so wellies are an advantage.

Here your dog can jump into the water and dig in the sand without a care in the world, while you have shallow access to the water and can enjoy a beautiful view of the Halligen islands at Fuhlehörn.
