The approximately 1.8 km long route leads through the charming pedestrian zone, along the idyllic town bay and up to the impressive Schlossplatz square. Spectacular light installations tell Eutin's town history and "life at court" in an artistic way. By the way: all light installations in the City of Lights are powered by 100% green electricity.

The Christmas market on the castle terraces in front of Eutin Castle also opens its doors to accompany the City of Lights.
