Located in Monteu da Po, province of Torino, near the first Monferrato villages, this former farmhouse dates back to 1715 and was renovated in 2021 in country chic style. It is located in the town centre, beside the San Sebastiano church, dated 1600. Monteu da Po is a town nestled among the Northern Monferrato hills and crossed by the river Po. The town became popular when the ruins of the roman colony of Industria-Bodincomacus were discovered in the hamlet of San Giovanni. The site is composed of a Roman forum, a temple dedicated to Iside and the remains of the ancient shops. This is only a small part of the great city of Industria, mentioned for the first time by Pliny the Elder, who described it as an important port on the river Po. In Monteu, the church of San Giovanni Battista, which was burned down and rebuilt in the 17th century, and the 16th century church of San Grato, at the foot of the hill, which was a parish church until 1636, are also worth a visit.
