Monteu da Po is a town nestled among the Northern Monferrato hills and crossed by the river Po. The town became popular when the ruins of the roman colony of Industria-Bodincomacus were discovered in the hamlet of San Giovanni. In Monteu, the church of San Giovanni Battista, which was burned down and rebuilt in the 17th century, and the 16th century church of San Grato, at the foot of the hill, which was a parish church until 1636, are also worth a visit.
