Westendorf, once voted Austria’s most beautiful village,

has much of what defines a Tyrolean mountain village: an

attractive village center with a pretty church, an idyllic

natural landscape including the natural jewel of the Windau

Valley, and numerous opportunities to relax or take part in

sports.

In summer, Westendorf is ideal for hiking and

mountain biking. There is also an 18-hole golf course.

In winter, Westendorf is the ideal starting point for

alpine and Nordic skiing, with direct access to one of

Austria’s largest ski areas, the “SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser,” and

its many cross-country ski trails.

Westendorf is only about a 15-minute drive from the

Innsbruck/Munich motorway entrance and about 15

minutes by car from Kitzbühel.
