The municipality of Campos offers a superlative - the natural beach of Es Trenc belongs to the municipality. Campos has approximately 9,000 inhabitants and is one of the most specialised municipalities in agriculture. It is largely a residential town so you are likely to find that most basic day-to-day needs are catered for. The nearest large shopping towns are Llucmayor, Palma city and Manacor which are not easily accessible except by car.Campos retains much of the charm of old Mallorca with is winding streets and traditional stone buildings. Outside the village there are many restored windmills, some of them are still working. Every Thursday and Saturday there is a colourful weekly market.
