We are located in the hills near Farra di Soligo, close to the Sanctuary of Collagù, perhaps in one of the most famous panoramic landscapes of the entire UNESCO area, where the hills seem like a painted picture. Our attention is drawn to our house, built right on the slope, a true jewel set in nature, enjoying an unparalleled view. The first thing that welcomes us is a terrace that extends like a leap over the green landscape below. The village, beyond the hills, is barely visible. The silence is absolute, interrupted only by the sound of animals in the forest and the distant noise of work in the fields. Here, everything has the flavor of tranquility. We pass through the entrance, and the living area opens in a modular way, offering three distinct yet harmonious environments. We start with a welcoming room where the eye rests on the beautiful staircase leading to the upper floor and on a marble-finished fireplace, easily suggesting convivial evenings. Next to it, a living room bathed in light thanks to the three large windows framing the landscape. Finally, the kitchen, which through a glass door almost merges into one with the outdoor environment. We notice that both the living room and the kitchen host a majolica stove: not just a decorative element, but a true generator of that particular warmth that only fire can infuse into a home, an enveloping and comforting warmth. We go up to the upper floor. A corridor leads to the central bathroom and the two bedrooms. Both are finely finished with the use of wood, from the floors to the exposed beams, elements that reinforce the elegant atmosphere. The real wonder, however, is the view: the windows of both rooms open directly onto the valley, giving us a breathtaking view on which we linger. One can only imagine the feeling of waking up in the morning surrounded by such beauty, immersed among woods and vineyards, even before getting up. We have visited a unique property, where the sensation of peace is palpable from the first step. This house is a privileged observation point on one of the most beautiful landscapes in Italy. The skillful use of elements such as wood and majolica stoves gives the interiors a rustic elegance and authentic comfort.
