The secluded Court of the Duke, near Palazzo Grassi and San Samuele, is an exclusive place that encloses elegant residences like a jewel box in the heart of San Marco. The apartment we are visiting today is located on the first floor, welcoming us from the spacious entrance hall with many typical details of Venetian homes such as perfectly maintained terrazzo floors, lime plaster finishes on the walls, and some fine friezes. The ample layout is divided into two double bedrooms, one of which is the master with its own elegant bathroom; the other bathroom is accessible from the living area. The kitchen is spacious, functional, and in a classic style, opening onto the large dining room from which it is possible to admire a beautiful view of the Grand Canal.
