The town of Canzo enjoys a central position in the so-called Lariano Triangle and is a well-known tourist and holiday destination for many Milanese families. Practically equidistant from Como, Lecco and Bellagio, easily reachable in just over 30 minutes by car, it is also located about an hour from the Malpensa airport and 5 minutes from Erba. Erba is a lively town with all the features of a modern city with regards to services, the presence of numerous shopping centers, cinemas, restaurants and nightclubs. Dominated by the characteristic mountain with two cusps, precisely called Corni di Canzo, in the nearby vicinity to the delight of lovers of cycling you will find the iconic ascent of the Sormano wall, whose summit also includes the Astronomical Observatory of Sormano, the sanctuary of the Madonna del Ghisallo with its magnificent panorama of the Bellagio promontory. In the very center of the town of Canzo you will find an excellent example of neoclassical architecture represented by the Theater with semicircular orchestra and the theater offers a rich calendar of performances and concerts of classical music. A short distance away is also the natural plateau of the Piani del Tivano, a true paradise for those who practice outdoor activities, both in the summer with wonderful trekking and mountain bike routes, and in winter with the presence of paths for cross-country skiing and toboggans. There are also characteristic agritourisms in the area that offer traditional local cuisine and rustic mountain huts where you can taste the typical local products.
