Pianello del Lario is a charming village nestled on the western shore of Lake Como, about 10 km north of Menaggio, in a privileged position between the tranquil waters of the lake and the nature-rich slopes of Mount Bregagno. • Como can be reached by car in about 70 minutes (approximately 49 km),
• Lecco in one hour (approximately 60 km),
• Milan, as well as Malpensa and Linate airports, are about 1 hour and 45 minutes away,
• the Swiss city of Lugano is about 40 km away, an hour's drive.
In addition, thanks to public transport on Lake Como, you can easily visit famous places such as Bellagio, Varenna and Tremezzo all year round.
During the winter, Pianello is also an excellent starting point for reaching some of the most beautiful ski resorts in the Alps: St. Moritz (CH), Madesimo, Bormio and Livigno are all within two to three hours by car, depending on the destination.
