In the summer months, the “Baggalocke”, a small bathing lake with sunbathing lawn on the edge of the village, invites you to relax and enjoy a refreshing swim. In winter, sports enthusiasts benefit from the proximity to the two ski areas of Skiworld Ahrntal, which offer kilometers of slopes as well as several tobogganing runs, and the well-known Plan de Corones. Another highlight of the village and unique in the world is the firefighter helmet museum, which houses a collection of over 700 helmets from all over the world and offers a unique experience. A village surrounded by a wonderful mountain view with a wide range of outdoor activities - that’s Gais.
