The district of Spandau, located in the northwest of Berlin, is a sought-after and popular residential area due to its middle-class structures, its abundance of parks, waterways, and forests, and its good transport links to the city center. The "Wilhelmstadt" district is characterized by housing estates from the 1920s and 1930s as well as classic old buildings. Spandau's old town—with around 300 businesses, the largest pedestrian zone in Berlin—and the Spandauer Arkaden shopping center are only a few minutes away and offer numerous restaurants and extensive shopping opportunities for everyday needs. Cultural attractions can be found in the Spandau Citadel, among other places. Public transportation connections are provided by the "Rathaus Spandau" underground, suburban, and long-distance train station, as well as various bus lines. By car, you can reach the A100 motorway via the "Dreieck Charlottenburg" junction.
