San Gregorio, Capo d'Orlando to love
San Gregorio, in Capo d’Orlando, is one of the most beautiful fishing villages in the province, gaining fame for inspiring Gino Paoli’s iconic song Sapore di sale. Like him, many artists of the time chose Capo d’Orlando as their summer retreat, making it a key destination of the so-called dolce vita.

La Timpa, Acireale
With its steep walls rising to over one hundred meters, the Timpa of Acireale offers panoramic views of great beauty, one of the most beautiful perspectives of the entire Ionian coast. A promontory close to the coast of Acireale, about 6 km long, that extends from Acque Grandi in the district of Capomulini to the district of Santa Maria degli Ammalati. The entire area is a true open-air natural laboratory, a Nature Reserve that extends over an area of 265 hectares, characterized by faults with dense vegetation and imposing lava stratifications with sections overlooking the sea with columnar basalts, pebbly beaches and ancient terraces with dry stone walls marked by 'saje,' the ancient irrigation canals of Arab tradition that for over a millennium have exploited the natural slope from Mount Etna to the sea.
