The enclosed farmstead dating back to 1600 consists of the large dwelling house (former farmhouse), a small house, the old mill, the storehouse, the barn and approximately 41 hectares of farmland. These hectares are divided as follows: 14% orchards, 12% meadows, 7% pastureland and 67% forest. More than 4 hectares are already equipped with a hail protection system. The agricultural areas, amounting to approximately 41.5 hectares, are mainly located in the immediate vicinity of the farm. The main building was last renovated in 1977. The two-storey house, built in 1980, is in good condition. Innovative investments have been made in recent years to increase the farm's value, amounting to approximately EUR 3 million. The main investments include the construction of a large reservoir (4,500 m3) with a modern sprinkler system, a filter station and an automation system. Investments were made in club varieties, hail nets, a wood chip plant, new garages, an underground water reservoir, a water collection creek, renovation of the barn, roof and workshop, renovation of the slurry pit, and installation of workshop and fleet equipment. The drip sprinkler irrigation system delivers 80% of all crop protection treatments at the push of a button. This saves time, eliminates drift and is therefore particularly environmentally friendly. This is an innovative farm with potential.

Verano is a small municipality in the province of Bolzano-South Tyrol in northern Italy. It lies at an altitude of about 1,200 metres above sea level and has an area of about 24 square kilometres. The surroundings of Verano invite you to countless hikes, such as the one to the so-called 'Knottnkino', a special viewpoint. Just like in a cinema, there are seats here where you can sit and enjoy the view. The municipality of Verano has a long history dating back to the Middle Ages. This is also reflected in the historic buildings and churches in the town. About 1,000 inhabitants live in Verano. It is known for its traditional agriculture and the cultivation of apples and other types of fruit. Tourism also plays an important role in Verano, especially in the summer months, when many guests come to the region to hike and relax.
