Mountain cottage in the Binntal Nature Park

This charming alpine chalet is located in Ausserbinn (Binnegga), surrounded by the pristine nature of the Binntal Regional Nature Park. Set in a peaceful position on the sunny side of the valley, it offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and an unobstructed panorama of the majestic Aletsch region – the largest continuous glacier area in the Alps. Despite its secluded setting, the chalet is accessible all year round – just a short walk away and still within easy reach of civilisation. This traditional “Maiensäss” combines authentic charm with modern comfort: electricity, running hot water and a lovingly preserved interior create a warm and cosy atmosphere. With minimal light pollution, the area offers spectacular stargazing, while the tranquillity of the location makes it an ideal retreat for relaxation, meditation or creative pursuits. The generous outdoor area allows you to fully connect with nature – surrounded by approximately one hectare of agricultural land. Whether enjoying breakfast in the crisp mountain air, a peaceful evening under the open sky, or observing local wildlife: every moment here becomes a lasting memory. In spring, the meadows transform into a sea of flowers; in autumn, the valley glows in warm tones; and in winter, soothing silence settles over the landscape. Inside, you’ll find a bedroom with a small raised alcove that can be used as an additional sleeping space, along with a dining area with a table and bench. A small kitchen is also available. The bathroom is equipped with a shower. An additional room, currently used as storage, offers great potential to be converted into extra sleeping space. The nearest public parking is located at the municipal building; from there, a walking trail leads to the chalet in about 20 minutes.
