Grächen is a municipality in the Visp District, in the canton of Valais, in the heart of the Swiss Alps. This mountain village is a paradise for family holidays in summer and winter. The Hannigalp at 2,100 m above sea level is the centerpiece of the hiking region: it links the high-level trail to Saas-Fee with the Europaweg between Zermatt and Grächen—the Alps’ most famous and most beautiful high-altitude hiking routes.
