The village of Bosentino lies on the slopes of Mount Bosentino, on the edge of the basin of the Vigolana Plateau, and is a true “terrace” overlooking Lake Caldonazzo. This village, whose roots date back to pre-Roman times, is a small mountain settlement with very distinctive houses, adorned with stone portals and wooden balconies. In addition to walks leading to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Feles and to Vigolo Castle, at the foot of Mount Marzola, Bosentino offers other pastimes such as tennis, volleyball and five-a-side football, and thanks to the nearby Lake Caldonazzo (3 km) it is also possible to enjoy a wide range of water sports. Bosentino is a hamlet of 827 inhabitants in the municipality of Altopiano della Vigolana, in the Autonomous Province of Trento, just a few minutes’ drive from the provincial capital, from Lakes Caldonazzo and Levico, and from the ski slopes of Folgaria and Lavarone. The Vigolana Plateau offers a great deal both in terms of hospitality and activities, including horse riding, Nordic walking and mountain biking, not to mention the 60 km of the Vigolana and themed routes dedicated to history, the senses, taste and movement. The municipality is provided with all main services, such as schools, nursery schools, public transport, supermarkets, bars and restaurants. The distance from Trento and the quality of the services offered make Bosentino and the other hamlets an ideal place for young families.
