The drive from Chur to Arosa takes approximately 45 minutes and is possible year-round. Another option is the Arosa railway, which travels hourly during the day from Chur’s main railway station up to the village center, providing a very relaxing journey (1 hour). Arosa has a family-friendly ski area offering enjoyment in the snow for all ability levels; since winter 2013/14, it has been connected to the Lenzerheide ski area. Other leisure activities include cross-country skiing, ice skating, sledding and much more. During the summer months, the mountain region invites visitors to enjoy extended hikes or adventurous bike tours. A swim at Untersee lake (lido) is also very popular, offering an incomparable atmosphere in the sunshine. Throughout the year, Arosa hosts numerous partly internationally renowned events, complementing its already extensive range of activities and entertainment.
