Charm and elegance with water views

Surrounding Sant'Aponal, a private courtyard opens behind a sturdy doorway. Fresh and bright, a staircase reflects the steps on a gold-leaf mirror over the common area. We reach the second floor, pass a second doorway and enter the third door on the left. We are transported to a setting where attention to detail reigns supreme. The entrance welcomes us with its custom-made cabinetry and pastel hues, a motif we will find again on our visit, accompanying us into the bright living room. The meticulously leveled parquet floor, the fabrics of the sofa-bed in chromatic harmony with the sofa and curtains, the restored wooden table, and the embroidered fabrics of the chandeliers chase each other into the large room with its high ceilings and exposed beams, framed by the view of the canal. Near the table, a door leads us into the modern kitchen complete with appliances including dishwasher and coffee maker, co-owner of the ceilings and the view of the living room. We continue to the sleeping area where a closet lines the right side of the hallway, as if to guard the guest's sleep. On the left, we find the door that leads us into the master bedroom where the floral and faunal motif revises itself in beats of wings on the bedding and curtains, the hues dialogue with each other in a chirp of colors, and the gold of the lamps is reflected in the antique gold-leaf mirror, as if wishing dreams of the same material to those who are mirrored in it. A staircase leads us to the loft, overlooking the beams and the canal. A desk ensures quiet to devote oneself to one's negotia. Finally, the bathroom, typically Venetian, completes the work with floral-decorated mirrors that enhance the light.
