Leontario, also known as Kantza is located near Lavriou Avenue, at the height of the neighboring borough of Glyka Nera. It borders the Kampa Estate and the Matsa Estate. The center of the district is located in a pine-covered town square where the city park is located, an area which is known of its sidewalks and elegant neighborhoods. On Lavriou Avenue, on the border with the center of Glyka Nera area, there are many shops and restaurants. The settlement continues around the hill, at the top of which there is the small square of Kallithea and a well-known College. To the north of the area the neighborhood of Agios Nikolaos has been growing in the last years and it is harmoniously integrated into the district. The central park of Leontario is located in the residential area, around which there are elegant pedestrian streets, artistic additions with a strong water element, grounds and school spaces. There are many educational institutions in the area such as the 3rd Elementary School of Pallini, the 2nd High School, the "Erasmeios Greek-German School", the "Bodosakeio Elementary School" of the Athens College and the "Latsio Elementary School" of the Psychiko College. In addition, a modern sports center of the Municipality was recently built in the area.
