The town is 32 km north of Rosenheim and 47 km from Munich Airport. The infrastructure is excellent. The district capital offers all the advantages of urban life with a modern district hospital, various general practitioners and specialists, several pharmacies, a shopping center, and a historic old town around Marienplatz. You can be in nature quickly, distances are short, everyday life is less hectic, and everything is a bit more relaxed. There are many cycling and hiking trails. Two nearby 18-hole golf courses invite you to play. Cultural life is diverse, with the “Old Cinema,” the “Old Granary,” the monastery building yard with an open-air stage, and much more.
